Thanks for your kind words! The canopy was a huge success and i'm quite proud of it, just like the OOTB cockpit, with only some washes and dry-brushes added. The silvering of the decals is something I'm not happy with 😄

You can prevent this by first applying a coat of gloss varnish to your model. Then apply the decals and afterwards seal everything with a coat of flat varnish. This will reduce silvering to a minimun😉

There are 3 layers of gloss varnish on the model before I put the decals on, but somehow it didn't work out on this one....
Just bad luck I guess, normally I don't have too much silvering problems. Thanks anyway for your comments! Always highly appreciated!

For this kit I used the Eduard 1/48 Weekend Edition.
It is still a learning curve for me and their are some areas of inprovement.
