It is the best fw189 kit in any scale out there until today. Still it has some problems, like the canopy framing being somewhat too thick to name the most serious one.

Although the canopy framing is 'too thick' it is possible to reduce it by careful sanding using wet & dry paper, then dipping in future/kleer. I have done so with this build & the result was very successful.

The width of the framing is what I was referring to, and that cannot be corrected - I think I will have to live with it, unless an aftermarket replacement comes out.

Masking inside/out works well I think - the painted canopy framing looks in scale from here. I always thought that the unpainted canopy looked a bit diamond-like...and I hoped that painting may improve that. You have given me hope - thanks !😉
