A little progress with the S6 B. Fit is surprisingly good, very little liquid green was necessary. Sanded off the few panellines and rescribed them. The carpet monster gobbled the canopy, so I have to make a new one......

Schade ! Keine Reaktivierung in Aussicht ? Exoten sind klasse! Vielleicht etwas für Neglected Resurrection groupbuild.... ?😉

Some progress. Most of the rigging is still to come, I ran out of the 0,13 mm PE wire, hopefully it will arrive
on Thursday. Masking this tiny little bird was a bit tricky, did the painting twice.

Hi Hanno, it is not mine just a link so feel free to use it common to rules.

I bought a book about Schneider Trophy in Telford for four years ago, called The Schneider Trophy High Speed Seaplanes 1913 - 1931 by Alan Smith.

If you can get one just do it!

How sharp are those pontoon noses in that photo and how flat are the props, that engine is really pushing some air.

It's amazing that this aircraft set such incredible speeds, considering what else it had to push through the air other than its own bulk, and I wonder what speeds it could have achieved without the floats. !
The mind boggles. :-O

That is exactly what I thought too Kerry, how fast would it have been without these monsters underneath !?
