I'm sure I've done something wrong here. When dryfitted the teeth of the sprocket wheel are touching the upper hull. Not sure how I'll glue it together once I have the tracks fitted.

The turret went together better than expected. Only one ball broken on the ball and chain armour. The rope I managed to put on slightly crooked and the telescopic antenna did not fit flush wit the turret but nothing I'm not well practiced at hiding 🙂

This was my first time using link and length tracks. I can't say it was fun, but was glad to see they fitted perfectly. In fact, the whole kit was a pretty good fit, even the rear baskets which were not as tricky as I thought they would be.

5-6 coats of Life Color Israeli Sand Grey and it still looks patchy 🙁 That's enough of that, I'm hoping washes and filters will get it looking a bit better. Failing that, my go to technique for hiding shoddy work ...... extra weathering 😛

A few washes done, next is some highlights. This Sand Grey colour is strange to my eyes. Not sure if it's green or brown...I think some experimentation will be needed to choose a good colour for highlights.

Almost done. Next step is adding some weathering. Too late now, but I'm still not sure about this colour. Photos I have seen the paint looks greener.

Some (not very good) pics of the finished model. It was an enjoyable build, although the paint I used - Lifecolor Israel Sand Grey 1982 - was a bit of a challenge. Maybe it's best used with an airbrush rather than hand.
