Fiddly kit and the first resin that I've attempted. It didn't come with the two spars leading to the tail so I scratch built them out of brass tube, some of the float struts broke so I had to scratch build them. Lots of painting and masking to do and then the frustration of trying to fit the floats to the fuselage

Gold paint on the radiators, red paint and white on the undersides of the floats all done. Happy so far

Very nice Ben! It seems that brass tube for the tail booms worked well ! 🙂

Thanks for the comments. Kees the brass tube worked really well and without knowing what the other booms would be like I think it made it stronger. A 1/48 of this would be interesting to give more detail to the fuselage which is interesting. As I mentioned previously it's my first resin kit and I'd do another but maybe something not quite so delicate.
I've got my 1/48 S6 to build and look for other Schneider Cup planes.
