Derek JordanThat's my dad circa 1960ish. He's holding a scratch built U-Control plane that his dad (my grandfather) built him. Somewhere along the line that aircraft disappeared, so I am building this as a gift, a placeholder, for him and his memories.

A Christmas surprise for my father. This was one of the favorite aircraft that my grandfather made for my dad as a child. That U-Control aircraft is long gone so this is a stand in for childhood memories.
