First pics up. The build went very easy and quickly for me. Either I'm getting better or this is a pretty good little kit. Maybe a bit of both 🙂 Work stalled at the moment as I have ordered my first airbrush (exciting times!). It's on the way but I was experimenting with shades of green. Decided on Vallejo Russian Green.

After some initial frustrations (understatement!) I'm finally up and running with the airbrush. Wow! What a revelation. Quick, efficient and no nasty brushstrokes. Very impressed so far. Now I've just completed weathering the suspension. It's turned out a bit heavier than I wanted, but I will go with it. Tracks next. I've always found link and length tracks a bit annoying, but I've discovered a new technique I'll be trying out.

Tried a new technique for fitting link and length tracks. Very frustrating. It turns out my way is easier. I brush painted the black. I really should have gone with the airbrush, but yet to try a hard edged cam scheme with it.

Finally. Apart from the dodgy tracks this was a very enjoyable build. I wish I had started using an airbrush sooner. I tried to go easy with the weathering, but from the pics it seems heavier than I wanted. I was going for some very light mud with rain streaks. Another technique I need to work on.
