Looks like you are coping very well with the photo etch so far Phillip. I really struggle with some of the tiny pieces – I often just pretend they don't exist and don't use them.

Thanks. I had similar problems. Some of the pieces were impossibly small and then still required bending! Any errors that were affixed I wrote off as a Soviet field mod. But all in all it turned out real well

As always, all feedback is appreciated, especially as this is my first time working with photo etch. I used Eduard's pe for the Tamiya il2.

Project now complete. Never would have imagined such a simple kit could be so much fun and turn out so well.
