Album image #4
...and after. All the not needed details have been removed.

Album image #5
Most of the superstructure "completed" as far as needed. The details a.s.o. will be added later.

Album image #6
First colouring. The woodendeck is selfmade.

Album image #7
The first details, made from WEM PE-Parts and copperwire.

Album image #8
With colours added..

Album image #9
Some more details are still missing, but they will be added as soon as the superstructure is completed.

Album image #10
Teh funnel is quite different from the kit part, so it recived a bit of modifikation.

Album image #11
Album image #12
The new funnelcap, made from 0,3 mm styrene.

Album image #13
And now lets start with the bridge. First of all, all the kits "details" a.s.o. had to be removed...

Album image #14
...to be replaced by scratchbuilt parts.

Album image #15
The apperance of the bridge as Geleitboot is quite different from the Minensuchboot, as you can see.

Album image #16
Testfitting, because the scratchbuilt changed a lot. So I had to make sure that everything still fits in its place.

Album image #17
The basic color is added, so that the details can be attached.

Album image #18
And this is the actual state of project.

1:400. That is a giant scale compared to your last built, I am excited to see if the captain will have a beard and blue eyes 😉

I´ve added some new pictures. Unfortunatly I had a little accident with my thumb, so I couldn´t build as much as I wanted.
But nevertheless: I hope you like it. 🙂

Album info

During this built I will use the old Heller Kit of M 24 to convert into a Geleitboot Klasse 319.
One of the first units of the new Bundesmarine back in 1956.

They were bought back from the french, who recived them after the war als war-price.
One of the 10.5cm guns has been replaced with a Hedgehog, the AA has also been changed and the minesweeping equipment was removed.
