If the rotor mast was a half inch further rearward this design would work, although prop clearance would be an issue but easily solved 🙂

Thanks! This one is looking great already. I'm really excited to see this one progress. As for my project, my plan was to try and kitbash Lupin's Fiat 500, but if that doesn't work, I might try my hand at this. If I do, I'll probably ask you to take a few measurements for me... otherwise Choppa Nutta will make me start over.😉

Wow. This just pops! I love it. I think I've found a bit of a cheat for my Lupin project (stay tuned), so I'll probably just focus on the Fiat 500 and a motorcycle, but I've got this album tagged in the "just in case I need inspiration" file. Wicked build. I can't wait to see it all done now.

That aside... everything looks great! The paint job looks flawless and the panel lines are crisp. That's some really nice work. It makes me want to go watch Castl of Cagliostro again!

Nice, nice work indeed. Worthy of the film - which is probably my 3rd favourite Miyazaki movie after Porco Rosso and Castle in the Sky. I've been thinking about adding a scratchbuilt version to my Miyazaki project, but I'm not sure what might make a good/cheap donor kit. Luckily I have your build for inspiration and reference.😉
