Shiny, glossy, wonderful painted! How much time have you invested in preparing the plastic for painting?

Holger—so good to hear from you. I wish I could take credit for creating the chrome, but the Sixties era kit is pre-finished. I am adding aftermarket, though in the end to I hope bring about a more modern representation.

Its pre finished with chrome? Wow! For such an old kit, its remakable! The wheel wells look great, too! Aires and you made a good job there.😢

That was a lot of sawing to cut the Aires down to size, for sure! Appreciate your thoughts, Holger. Looking forward to catching up on your finished works—from what I can see already, a lot of incredible projects! All the best.

Pre finished chrome parts for natual metal airplanes? Interesting, never knew they made them but actually a nice idea, the finish looks quite exceptional on this one. What are yo going to do about the seam lines?

"What are yo going to do about the seam lines?"
yeah I was thinking that too.
handily the front end has a painted upper surface and the rear turtle deck might be a single piece ?
Any chance of a photo of all the kit parts please ? 🙂

Hello Alexander, Dave, Choppa and Clifford! Thank you all for visiting and leaving your comments! I added another batch of photographs—including shots of kit parts specifically for Choppa Nutta. I don't have all of the kit parts photographed. When I received the kit, most of the parts were off sprues. I did make a sprue count and parts count when I received the kit.

Would love to see how this turned out. I built a chromed F-104 when I was a kid. I used testors silver on the seam lines and I remember it being pretty decent.
