Looking good! What color for the body? How's the kit build? I've got this kit in my stash.

Thanks, mates. Final body colour is white. Build has been very nice so far. Little flash, good fits. I toned down the plated parts on the engine with clear flat.

Hi there. I'm currently building the same kit, but the custom version. 🙂 Good idea of you to use the clear flat on the plated engine parts. Will you do the same on the outer parts (bumpers etc.)? I removed the plating on all of those parts and will use Alclad ALC107 Chrome to (hopefully) create a more realistic effect compared to the plating.

Thomas, I'll keep the exterior chrome nice and shiny. I've used clear flat over top of exterior chrome when I wanted the vehicles to look older. See some of the examples in my albums, in particular the 1941 Chevrolet pickup.
