That made me laugh.
Thanks Spanjaard. You have probably gathered that I'm not a big fan of rivet-counters – even when discussing aircraft that did exist.
Hope you have a good holiday.

managed to miss this one completely, very nice rendition of one of my favorite planes!
Album info
I've been after this kit for a while but wasn't willing to pay the silly prices they often go for – this one was bargain so I couldn't resist. I've seen reviews, but somehow I was expecting a better quality kit that it turns out to be – quite basic in many respects.
It was a dual build with a 'Trumpeter Me 509' which I bought on the same day as the 183.
I did quite a few improvements to the kit, but no after-market stuff. The biggest improvement is to give it an air-intake, as the kit has a blocked nose. If I had know what a pain it would be, I would just have done a FOD cover.
Most of the markings are done with home-made stencils and the seatbelts are printed on paper. The camouflage is a figment of my imagination/derangement.
One of the reasons I like building aircraft that didn't exist, is that I don't need to make excuses about 'wrong colour', 'incorrect markings' etc. So, if any rivet-counters have any complaints about factual inaccuracies, please address them to whatever alternate universe this thing inhabits.
