D-O
Kit aerials were glued in place and then sawed off at the base and replaced by steel wire with blobs of Krystal Kleer on the ends
The original kit prong to connect the kit to the base was cut off and replaced by a 3mm rare earth magnet. Another one will be glued into the net base. Also the seams on the side of the head have been filled and sanded.
Head painted and small sections of brass tubing used to replace the micro Krystal Kleer blobs on the ends of the aerials - which I think looks better.
Painting finished and everything glued together - just waiting on weathering

Thanks JD - the benefits of being on holiday (and finally getting out of a 2 year modelling slump where I started lots of things but only finished 4 kits)!

This is the D-O droid from The Rise of Skywalker, to be built pretty well out of the box, the only real change likely to be swapping out the oversized head aerials
