I'm not sure if this is common sense, but as a model player, choosing the decals provided in the box rather than opting for third-party decals might be considered an act of someone who is financially constrained.

Yes. I think, typically, but me not being an expert on this subject matter, it seems to me that aftermarket decals might have lower printing quality. Point being, box decals might very well be good enough. Unless you need better decals, but then I don't know what brand to trust, unless ofc, it was made by Cartograf.
Cartograf is known for manufacturing very good decals. I can't think of any other that make as good decals.
Btw, Eduard sometimes sell scale model kits that explicitly does not contain decals. I think they are called "Overtrees". These are just the plastic parts, maybe surplus items?
