The subject of my build
Fuselage interior painted basic colors
Seat given simulated wicker texture with a razor saw
Painting begun - fuel tank salvaged from an old trashed build will be added
Filler points as molded
Filler points drilled out
New color mixed up for cockpit floor
Base colors in for IP, control yoke, and scratch built rudder bar with linkage rods
Salvaged fuel tank before...
Modified fuel tank into two parts and seat with base colors on
Oil paint on for attempt at wood grain effect
Oil paints after attempt at wood grain effect- any resemblance to actual wood grain is purely luck

Scratch built lap harness. I think it came out a bit too wide for the seat

Paint touched up, landing gear painted & test fitted, ready for decals

Neil, thank you. I do like the older kits. Some I'll add to, some I'm quite happy with what comes in the box. Aside from decals... most kits, old or new, rarely have the markings option that I want... lol!

Hi Carlos, I only build the vintage stuff. Mainly because I have a lot of them in my stash. But also I'm upskilling to relearn again after years away from hobby. I hope when I build this kit up I can do it the justice you gave. Yours looks great ?
