No, and the angle and magnification is quite carefully chosen to show it off from its "good" side... My first model in 10 or so years, the end result could have been better.

Thanks for the information Hans. I also like the 229 and unfortunately there isn't much choice in 1/48. The Zoukei-Mura is out of my price range, so it's Dragon or nothing. 🙁
