Finally decided to tackle this Tamiya wonder of engineering. Exito offers some interesting markings and I chose "Beautiful Lass." The decal kit profiles are excellent and I'll get a chance to work on my weathering technique. Mr. Color paints will be used. Office is complete.

John "Jump" O'Neill's White 99 is now complete. Tape lines were a lot of work but I think the effect looks good in the end. Decals were perfect. Following a pin wash and some additional weathering, the final flat coat was Model Master Flat Clear Lacquer. Chips and scratches were applied with silver pencil. What a great kit. Thanks for looking.

Thanks Mates! Much appreciated.
@Pierre -- The decals are by Cartograf, so that helps - perfectly printed, thin, and minimal carrier film around the edges. I first sprayed a bit of gloss in the areas where decals were to be applied. Straight Microset and Microsol were used for setting and softening the decals. When dry, I applied a little more gloss over the decals to seal them before the pin wash. Hope that helps.
