Great looking Camoflague, Evan. Would be interesting to see pictures (if you have them) of the salt procedure you used between each paint layer. I understand the principal, but would be nice to see pics of the 'action'.

A6M2 "Zero" built from a 1/72 scale Airfix kit…
I wanted to try out some paint-chipping techniques, and Japanese planes seem to have had the chippiest paint of all WWII aircraft, so this little guy seemed like a good guinea pig. I think it turned out okay, especially since I had to sand off the first paint job and start over after things went horribly wrong.
The model was built out of the box, with aftermarket decals representing an aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Navy's 204.Kokutai based at Rabaul in 1943.
