Don't give her anything! (but in French)

I need the French guy with his arm raised from the Miniart set to be an angry Frenchman, and not a happy one. I couldn't a resin head that fit the bill so I tried to use some of my new Blender sculpting skills and my Anycubic Photon S to make my own. With a BIG assist from Human Generator, a Blender add-on. It came out pretty well but, alas, not really close to 1/35. More like 1/30 or something. That's easy to fix though. The one thing that really surprised me was how great an open mouth can look with 3D printing. Wow.

I remade the head of the French guy to get a different shape, but I'm still not thrilled with it. Just for kicks I made a couple of other heads from a reference and I think they came out much better (center and left). Regardless, for early tests I think these justify my purchase of the printer and those hours and hours of online 3D classes because I'm reasonably confident that my quest to be able to make my own figures or figure parts to express my diorama stories will work. 🙂
