I like the ingenious construction of the Bachstelze and wanted to build it in my prefered scale. So I was happy to obtain this Pavla kit. Well - I was not happy for too long...

The plastic parts are too coarse and the photo etch often too thin. Detail is limited, to say the least. So bottomline the kit served more or less only as a template for homemade parts.

Rotorblade-construction was enhanced.

Quite a few of quick release handles are needed as the Bachstelze could be disassembled fairly quickly.

Thank Lukas and Villiers. I hope I can show some progress in the not too far future as I have now a quite clear idea how everything should be done. Cheers Michael

Album info
A Focke Achgelis Fa330 Bachstelze scans the horizon for U-875 when employed at Indian Ocean. The Bachstelze is a heavily modified Pavla kit scale 1:72, the board comes from Miragae in scale 1:400.
