T-64BV "318" Modelcollect
Completed Turret.
Gunshield and wires added to MG turret. made from copper foil and lead wire.
Lead wire added to turret rear light.
Wheels on, these were relatively easy to put on and keep straigt.
Addition Kontakt-1 ERA block added on lower glacis plate as these were missing from the kit. Used extra blocks from Modelcollect T-72 kit. Fenders and side skirts were made thinner on the edge to make them more realistic.
Tracks attached. These were link and length and were again fairly easy to attach. The links were too big to fit together so i sanded them while still on the sprue. The geometry isn't perfect but fenders hide the bad looking parts.
Tracks left side.
Tracks right side.
Black painted on tracks, wheels and inside of fenders to avoid plastic possibly showing through.
Only side ERA panels left.
Support brackets for ERA panels made from styrene sheet (I couldn't bare myself to attempt the PE ones).
Build complete.
Airbrush painting complete, used tamiya paints, filter added with clear green.
Tactical numer 318 added with spare decals (Modelcollect S-300 kit).
Spent 12.7x108mm cases added with scrap PE cut to lenght and fixed with PVA glue.
And Build complete.

The model is now finished, apologies for the underwhelming pictures but it's the best i could get. Now the next project.

Those white markings look to be the same, although the tank in the picture is missing the yellow band on the gun barrel. I assume it's a Ukrainian tank then. Many thanks for the information, Oleg!
