Progress
I got the official Flyhawk wooden deck originally but it was missing parts for upper decks. So I ordered the other ChuanYu option which is looking a bit worse but is more complete - thats what is there on the pictures. It also included really good masks which the Flyhawk deck did not have. Hopefully I will be able to sell the leftover deck. It is really nice and thin but I just went with the second one in the end..
The masks proved to be absolutely indispensable. In the future, I will not do wooden deck without proper laser cut masks. It saves so much time.
I could not get the camera to focus but I still uploaded this. the hull was finished and treated with white base and then masked off with two thin white strips for the stripes. I was really twitchy about how that would turn out.
the masts. some further mistakes on my part - the aft mast does not have the upper thin part (I might cut it in the end) and the fore mast has the watch box put on backwards 🙁 I will leave it as to not damage the PE

while glueing the tiny PE parts to the Fletcher DDs I had a flash of inspiration and my ADHD brain had to start on the court of gin too. This project is now underway and it us progressing really fast, to my surprise.
In the end, I decided against dazzle here sadly as Heerman will be dazzle, Wickes also and later I'd also like to try Gloire or something.
Agincourt will be in a traditional old time camouflage - bottom hull red, upper hull dark blue with thin white dividing lines. white superstructure and orange brown masts and stacks. So we are still deep in what if territory. I am sure this sceme has an official name but i like to call it Royal Yacht Club.
