Raccoon
Let's start this Raccoon!!!!
used John Belushi from Spielberg's 1941 as reference for the painting
painted with vallejo acrylics and citadel
texturing with mr. surfacer 1000 and 500
more heavy texture on the feet and legs
done with texturing hehe
tiny details with epoxy
more little details with epoxy
primed at lunchtime =)
Testing the color sch
The potato underpaint!!!
potato underpaint applied at last!
The Potato Underpaint works as a charm! all brush
Another thin layer of the base color
The second color
The second color was applied with a sponge, like the good old days!
more detailing
chipping time! this time painted with a tiny sponge! used the surface primer mixed here and there for this
once the chipping it's done, paint light details on the border of the chipping to simulate volume on the chipping
looks gooood
Applied the water decals , also added some cables, after that the last touches of Ammo Mig weathering and it's done
finished the paint job and weathering at last!
the last thing left, the female pilot!
in this stage looks like a clown, a few thin layers of citadel flesh tone
and its done! used mechacolor for the helmet
changed the eyes of the male pilot, painted looking to the other side

the underpaint are just blue, yellow, red and green, the first layer is deep green Vallejo mechacolor, but you can use whatever you want on thin layers over the underpaint

You have an interesting way of painting, that with the face I had not seen so yet. I'll give it a try. The overall result is very convincing, top work 👍
