Me vs. DML Imperial Series

I picked up some Dragon kits at a contest a year ago for what appeared to be a low price. Then I read an article about the Dragon Imperial Series, which really tore into these kits. Old molds that Dragon purchased from another company, and nothing like the quality you see them offering today. Well that set off some alarm bells and I opened the Panzer III kit. The article was correct in my humble opinion. To punish myself for buying without researching, I decided to fight the kit!

It is put together and primed after a struggle. I tried a new technique in which I have the suspension and treads glued together, but not glued to the hull. Thank you Panzermeister36 for the inspiration

Put on the panzer grey mix coat and brown/black mix on the treads

I think it looks pretty good. Lots of hours weathering and she'll be a beauty 🙂
