don' want a very dirty bird, but a used one
any advise if I should make it more dirty than this ??
or just take the next step : the matt coat

sprayed very diluted sand and then grey to get it a bit more dirty and used
now the visible parts of the engine have to be painted
and next is the matt varnish

Hi Jan, wathering is a mather of taeste, It's difficult to give advice, I love your 262, it looks great, when you give it a matt cote it will turns out mutch better, greet job you've did on this one, greetz Phil

I'll go for the matt varnish now... I don't think these brids had time enough to look really battered before meeting their fate (lost in combat, destroyed on the ground or to have a new life as a frying pan.)

Hi Jan! I definately like what i see!!! Your weathering is subtle but very effective, so far. I´d just give the gear a portion of pigments and apply some dirt from take offs.
