P-38J w ultra cast seat & JT Robbins decals

P-38J "Jandina III" flown by Capt Jay T Robbins in Apirl-May 1944. I think he got two victories in this aircraft but the plane was wrecked in a crash early May 1944. I had been thinking about modeling this one since i was 15 (i'm 45 now) when i read the Edward H Sims book - American Aces in Great fighter battles of WW2. I obtained the decals over 10 years ago an dfinally got around to making this bird. The only hard thing was the silly 5 part canopy, way too many gaps but i think i was able to get them closed up reasonably.
