Peter, sorry for the wait but it has been quite the summer. As an update, my last act was to switch out the kit provided tracks for some R Model metal tracks. I have them assembled after some trial and error, hint: go with the pins if you can afford them, and am awaiting Mojo replenishment before going back to them. The Zimmerit was interesting. Let me know should you have questions or comments. Cheers!

Thanks Ant, I am just about to head off to work so I will go through the builds so far and comment later today. Great to hear from you again!

I usually use Fruil tracks and I use staples rather that the copper wire that comes with the tracks. The square staples lets you get away with no glue. The zimmerit looks thin and curly, was that an issue?

Peter - regarding the tracks, I need to try Fruil. I liked the details of R Model tracks but that steel wire was a bit of a "B" as it was a very snug fit. I had to measure my wire inserts to get as near possible flush finishes. Then when trying to push the wire through by hand I poked wholes in my fingers so I had to use pliers to pull the wire down. I have since managed a fair job putting a Patina finish to the tracks which I will post pretty soon. As to the Zimmerit decals curling, I found that the decals would not adhere in some places (not many but enough to illicit swearing). The only thing that would work in those places is super clue. The curved surfaces (see bow machine gun, and turret/gun mantlet) were really difficult.
