Decals being added, after a gloss coat. Just some stencils to add, plus signs on the front of the engines.

Further painting of the motorcycle, and some gloss too. Decals added to the amphibious jeep.

Fine wire used to create some tie-down cleats.

Scratched an instrument panel from a piece of sprue. Gauges drilled and painted, so they catch the light better.

Cord is included, for cables that lower and lift the ramp.

Door handle added, and door hung on hinges.

Lots of fun on this F-86F-40NA Sabre. I just wished the instructions mentioned a need for some weight in the nose...

I've not painted the front of the engine cowl in the copper colour, as I don't have that paint, yet...

Clear coat over all surfaces, and a very dilute, mud-brown, filter over each side, to tone down the decals.

Having now seen several really nice looking builds recently, I realised that 'pristine' is too bland.

Lead in the nose, paint on the clear plastic (tip: use proper primer....)

Well, the undercarriage is added and she's definitely not a tail-sitter.

Shine toned down with enamel Matt coat.

Unfortunately I messed up the decals for the depth numbering.... ☹️

All decals on, undercarriage installed, and kettenkrad hitched up.

Replacement Lewis gun is a tiny PE kit in itself. Superb quality MG.

Getting the balance of paint and thinner was key... that, and modifying the paints so the tone and contrast look right, ...

Final pieces added, so now she is 'finished'.

A wee touch up on the tyres needed. Not sure there's much I do on the rest....

The intention was to match the unusual box-art colours. Tried 'wet on wet' to softly blend one colour into the next.

Managed to break off the pitot tube and one machine gun, so some running repairs still to be done.

A very dusty example (the only surviving one?) in the Museum of Technology, Prague.
