Korean War Build
In Memory of Syd de la Harpe

My father's uncle (my great uncle?), Syd de la Harpe (DFC) served in Korean with 2nd Squadron SAAF. He was one of the first SAAF pilots to arrive in Korea and later earned a DFC for leading a successful attack on a North Korean airfield. He flew both Mustangs and then moved over to the Sabres. After he left the SAAF, he continued as a civilian instructor, amassing over 10,000 hours. Uncle Syd passed away in 2010. This build will be in memory of him, consisting of exact replicas of his Mustang and Sabre.
