In 72nd this is big, and as I can’t see anyone else has attempted it on SM I’ll try and catalogue the progress of the build as best I can.
I note there is a lot of PUR- cockpit, wheels, tail plane, undercarriage, bay doors, and the 4 engines and nacelles. The manufacturer claims they use metal reinforced PUR in places- I hope so for the undercarriage legs as there’s some weight to support. One (plus a spare) plastic acetate transparency for the windshield, glass fibre for the main fuselage and wings. There are two sets of decals for a ČSA and Aeroflot-liveried plane, plus they include some vinyl masks in case you’d prefer to paint - which I will try.
