Personal interest:
This model represents an Iraqi P-15M radar. The P-15 was designed to detect aircraft flying at low altitude and came to be associated with the S-125 anti-aircraft system. The P-15 is a high mobility radar. With the antenna mounted directly on a Zil-157 truck, the system could be deployed and taken down in less than than 10 minutes. The Iraqi Army frequently moved mobile radars such as the P-15 to establish SAM traps for Allied aircraft patrolling the no-fly zone.
