Rainbow paint job on a drag race themed build. 454 with a turbohydramatic would put this car in NHRA M/SA, N/SA, or O/SA. The kit comes with a manual tranny and bellhousing on the engine, but pedals for an automatic shift car. You couldn't get a manual in a '70 Impala with a 454, but I'm pretending it's an automatic. It's not important to me that it be that accurate. I needed the bench seat for another project, so I put some buckets in instead. Probably couldn't get that little switch past a tech inspector, unless Chevy offered buckets in the Impala that year. I'm pretending they did.
