Agustin PrellezoThank you Zach! The GMC kit is very good in details. The Harley is the old Tamiya kit and requires some extra detail. The Miniart figures are also good. I only used a Hornet head for the "drunk driver". And the champagne bottles are fantastic!

Mustang 1989A bit late to the party but I've gotta ask. I'm getting ready to tackle this kit and would like to know where you got the tarps / baggage that's hanging off of the rear and sides of the vehicle.
Great looking build by the way. Very well detailed and weathered.

Harald. I put the two side by side to show the differences in the paint. It was an eye opener to see how there was so much variation on such a color!
Giannis, I used X-19 + X-24 using a 5:1 ratio. Perhaps a 4:1 would have worked better. I'll note this in the pictures for reference.

BozzerReally, it should be dry now, but with the weather we've had, I'd wait until tomorrow. It's supposed to be a good morning? I'd personally check in real light, that you're happy with the colours, and if you are, shoot it with a coat of clear. Check that, when dry, and decals. Then clear coat again, once the decals are dry. Try to cover the body with a plastic tub or something, to prevent dust from settling on your clear coat 😉

It's usually at this point, I start another build.
However, work is only hours away, and weekend looks like a lifetime away 🙁

nikfrostThe cast texture is Tamiya flat aluminium XF-16 very poorly sprayed by me haha, I think it was drying on its way from the airbrush to the surface and kind of built up.

Mr DWorked well to the effect 👍 Tamiya dries really fast , l use Velejo mostly, l found Tamiya to fast n thickens up in the pot, Velejo doesn't harden like Tamiya n definitely needs good clear coat.

nikfrostI always put a dollop of tamiya lacquer thinner in and two mixing balls, seems to keep it moving quite well.
