Ford GT Le Mans- Take 1

Paint scheme. I painted the entire chassis white, then taped off for the blue, which was awkward due to the angle and all the body projections. Fortunately, the red section is a separate piece.

Shot of the interior prior to the dash and roll cage. I made the seat belt from a ribbon. One of the few issues with the model is that the yellow “No Step” decal does not show up on the black interior. However, as this is impossible to see once the body is in place, I did nothing about it. There must have been about 20 decals for the interior covering the dash and all the equipment on the floor. 

After painting, I put a coat of Pledge on the body before I started with the decals, then another coat after the decals were on.
