Dragon 1/35 M-51 IDF Sherman
So here we go. This should be fun.
28 parts pr bogie… Have Mercey
Modified the TC´s machine gun with PE from an old Eduard M-113 set
Converted crewman for my M-51 (work in progress)
Converted the engine deck to a batch 1 vehicle as used during the Six Day War.
Current state of my build.
Muzzle break done.
Making tracks. The definition of boring…
Tracks finished and test fitted and exhaust has been back dates to the correct M4A3 exhaust pipe.
It starts to look like a M51
Allmost ready for some paint.
The very first coat of paint using Ammo Mig-132
First layer of paint on the commanders .50 cal
Preparing the crew and Unit commander for some paint. White highlights over a black primer.
Tracks on, upper and lower hull glued together. Test fitting driver and co-driver. And some Milliput work.
Starting some crew painting. I use .50 cal brass as a paint stand 🙂
Mildly irritating to discover that I should have removed the «ring» inside the drivers hatch.
Started a simple desert base
Getting there
Some oils, gloss coat and decals. I also added some spent brass and ammo links to the turret roof.
Some oils and light chipping
Oil cans need to be tied down
Stowage is either spares or home made. And the small piece of copper wire should not have been there.
Still painting to be done.
Tank is finished. Now for the rest of the base and the crew.
Finished.

Mr James
Lots of lovely detail going into this. Judging by your other work, this is going to turn out right nice...! 🙂
