The cockpit is okay the way it comes from the box, nice details on the panels and a nice resin ejection seat ,which is int the making.

Fuselage halves and the clear part with the cameras are glued together and the fit in this section is not to bad.

Came across a kit review today, which gave me the hint to remove the four triangular plates on the upper side of the wing. These were instaled from, I think, -E version onwards on the positions of the wing pylons. Some orf the -E wings were later reused for some late RF-8G and so for some recce version these are correct.

Cockpit is finished so far, some details were added and the nice resin seat from the kit and the great pilot from Reskit found their places in the pit. The fit of the clear parts is nearly perfect, in the picture the two parts are only dry fitted to the fuselage and the stay in place even when shaking it.

I'm displaying my canopy closed as well, can't say I've experienced good fit with it. It's too "squat." There's a step between it and fuselage where it meets at the top, and steps on the side that make it not flush with the canopy walls. Have had to do a lot of sanding to make it look flush

@Rando
At least I had to agree with you. Just clued the canopy to the fuselage and as long as the fit of the wind shild is okay, the canopy don´t fit any longer with part #13 glued inside. In my case it ended with a little crack in the canopy.
