Thanks Michael. I think I might have made the job harder though as other parts of the plastic may need cutting for the resin cockpit and then of course some parts need cutting to fit the canopy. Should be fun!! 😉

Keep us posted. I also got the Fairy Models sets for the SU-27 and SU-27UB.
Cutting vac canopies isn't that hard as you think. Just take your time and use a marker so you know where to cut. It seems that the Wolfpack cockpit set fits right well. I've got the old KMC set for the SU-27 and the Neomega set for the SU-27UB.

I have decided to start this project. It will probably be a bit slow but I don't seem to have much modelling time at the moment sadly.
Extras to be used are:

Neomega Su-30 resin cockpit set
Wolfpack Su-30 Update set
Fairy Models-Vacform corrected canopy & IRST
Quickboost- Corrected nose in resin
Akan-Modern Russian air force acrylic paints
Excuse phone photographs, proper camera will be used from now on!
