My build of Monogram's PS194 re-pop in 1/48 scale kit of Willy Ley's Space Buggy. I color coded the astronaut's space suits to mimic those in "2001: A Space Odyssey". I considered replacing the supplied globe base with something else, as it is very simplistic. In the end, I just painted in some detail to dress it up a bit. Considering the age of the decals, I sprayed them with a couple of coats of clear gloss before application and they went on without too much problem. The clear window fell out of the forward porthole during construction and I was never able to find it. I used some clear Gorilla Glue to fill the hole. It's a bit ripply, but at least it will keep the dust out!
