Now this is very uncommon, beautiful and a great piece of work. Congrats!

Having a "strange" taste only adds diversity which is a good thing I would say 😉

The result was worth the effort.
Thanks for showing us this odd plane. I like this mixture of the transport planes of the 20's and the features of the "modern" planes that will follow.

Gabor...
You make sure you keep your srange taste, as Stefan said, it helps to add diversity!!!
I've always professed to advocate the strangely different, the unusual and I always will.

Thank You Bernard! This was more scracthbuild than ordinary modeling :/ but the subject is worth the effort, and beside the Conrail one this is the only game in town.

Hey, don't say that! This for inspiration and proves that this kit buildable at least 🙂 - and there's room for improvements or other solutions: pontoons, argentinian, passenger versions and so on 😉

Album info
This is the horrible ITC Condor kit, represents Richard Evelyn Byrd's expedition plane, "The William Horlick" from 1934. The kit is modeling nightmare - be aware of the one build can find on the net says: ""...deep into modelling hades" 🙂 . Practically all I can use are the fuselage halves and the wings. Everything else are scratch - including the wing struts, engines, glazing etc. I converted the plane into skys because it feels more as an expedition machine. One of my hardest builds in my life, but now I like it 🙂
