Thanks Es-haq. Vorya the kit is ok and goes well together. However its designed to be motorised as an otion and hence the internal arrangement is not brill and the Hull is not totally enclosed. Also by all accounts its not a Mk5 more like a Mk3+. The problem with all kits is your have to fix a timelime for your particular model and with the Chieftain in particular it was constantly being upgraded during its lifetime. The figures are quite good but would also have been nice to get some jerry cans and other items to stow in the turret baskets. I know you can get these elsewhere but if not in kit then they dont usually get done!

Thanks Martyn - I usually try when on holiday in UK to collect as memento bits of flat stone like the one used here - its simple but quite effective!

Looks good Mick, I didn't realise you'd built a Chieftain. It's not a bad kit despite the age, I don't think many (any?) other companies have a Chieftain so there's not much choice. I'd like to do a recovery vehicle, I think there's a resin conversion kit available.

Hi Barry - thanks - built this in early 2013. Yours looks pretty fine too especially the figures - I took an easy option! How about putting in on Transportor or even a flat bed Railcar!

Thanks Gareth - its not a recent build but I did enjoy it and unusually for me was pleased with result.
