Thank you! 🙂
The first of these was kind of a 'sacrificial' kit, the black one. I sort of expected it might be a disaster! Many new skills to learn since I made models as a child. Learning the airbrush... the filler... the wet'n'dry... I'm really pleased with how they are turning out. I really appreciate your compliment Hanno! 🙂
PS - The tip I was given for sealing the paint/decals is aerosol furniture polish - seems to work very well!

It quite obviously does! I´ve bought some too, but haven`t dared to use it yet....... The next glossy bird will be testbed

Have fun, the kit is a real dog. Will provide you invaluable lessons in plastic surgery, scratchbuilding, as well as filling and sanding 😄

You're not wrong Burkhard!! I thought (haha!) that this 'small, cheap, model' would be easy to build... It took ages, I learned LOADS. And then I assembled a more modern kit... and it was almost 'too easy' compared to the Comets. The G-ACSS I am building in this project - the ex-Frog NOVO - is much better quality than the 'new' kits from 60 year old Airfix moulds.

Well done mate, you're a brave modeler finishing not only one, but three of these beasts. And they do look great! 👍👍👍

The black one was my first model build since I was a child. Back then I just used to glue them and paint them (with a brush). The old Airfix Comets were a 'baptism of fire'! 🙂
