Built and painted this one years ago but never finished. The color i used was way to dark. I decided to overspray the dark color with a lighter one, but not completely. That created a nice shade effect on the tank.
Detail painting was done and sealed with a layer of satin varnish.

I have this kit in my stash, I need to get around to finishing it. Hopefully it looks as good as yours when I'm done!

Thanks Ensign. I was half way through with the kit as i put it away and forgot about it for about a year.
After i found it again i decided to try out the preshading on it. I think it came out quite good. 🙂

Hi cortex, i think the kit ist ok. Half of the parts are ok, for the other half you have to cut, fill and sand them. 🙂 Some of the parts had some flesh that you have to remove. The only issue i can remeber off, are the head lights. You need to be carefull while working on them, much flesh and easy to break.
The in-box review of the tank cybermodeler.com/hob..e/kit_zve_3552.shtml says that the kit is nearly identical with the Tamiya one. I think its possible to use some of the PE parts from Tamiya T-72 Eduard set. The kit tracks are not that good.
If you want me, i can check if the Trumpeter tracks (Trumpeter - Nr. 06623) will fit for this kit.

Thanks a lot for your feedback! It's really cool that it's very close to Tamiya's kit because as you said this opens the option of using many aftermarket products.
No need to test Trumpeter tracks thanks : ) if I got it i will be using the provided tracks.
