Tamiya Tiger I - modeled as S33 with the 2nd SS Panzer Division "Das Reich" as it appeared on opening day of Operation Citadel July 4th, 1943. Note that the brackets for the smoke grenade launchers have been welded off, which was common when tankers discovered that they could easily be set off shrapnel therefore blinding the tank. I entered it into the IPMS Silverwings Model contest in Sacramento and took 3rd place in the 1/35 armor category, and it took 2nd place at the Reno High Rollers model contest in September 2008.
