leaning back to watch another fine piece of art emerging🙂 That prop is already a little gem. What kinds of wood do you use?

This build was already started with the engine 2 1/2 years ago. After some trouble with the Brisfit I made reactivated this build and made the Wotan 4-blade. The wood is all pear, but different pieces.

Thank you for your nice words! Thomas, that is a nice kit, the build is pure fun until now! The fuselage is closed now, so I uploaded the next batch of pictures.

Bugs. Sorry I am late in coming in for a look mate. 👍
I do admire your work and the lack of yards of thick paint that can hide so much detail. 👍
The MG is the example I am referring to, as that is just a stand alone item right there. 🙂
Have you ever used the 'buffing metalizer' paints by Testors. ? As it is perfect for the smallest PE parts, in that it is super thin and the pigments don't clog any fine recesses or detail, perfect for the engine and guns. 👍
Just a thought mate. No telling you what to do. 👍
I do love what you have achieved. Most exciting. 🙂 👍

Thank you Kerry, also for the hint to the metalizer. It's new for me. I used 3 different Alclads on the gun casings, it's also very thin. I need daylight for good pictures, soon.

Looks great! When you say "fixing ropes", what do you mean? Looks like two spacer discs 🤔

Thx mates! Alec, the cowlings in WWI were made from thin aluminium, and are secured by a steel cable (or two in this case) around the cowling on fuselage side. I know a good walkaround of a Fokker showing this detail, but that web site seems to be killed 🙁 Also my Morane-Saulnier Type N has this.
Both nickel silver wires (0.2mm and 0.1mm) embrace the cowling and ends on bottom side.

Thx mates! Daniel, I don't know which kind this beauty is?!
Kerry, that is a good idea. Should go to the doctor and ask for additional 2 (or better 4?) hands! 🙂

Seems like a zebra spider, salticus scenicus. It could hop on top of your wing at once.
