Wonderful inspiration, I'm working on a CV 16 Lexington that I'm wanting to place a flight of F4U-4's landing on her. My father served on her. thanks. What did you use for the pedestals?

The bases for the pedestals were included in the kit - basically just disks with a raised center. They are fairly noticeable in some of the pictures. I drilled a small hole and glued about 0.015 inch diameter wire into it. I attached them to the base before I poured in the acrylic water.
