MiG-15bis North Korea (WIP)
Cockpit ready for wash
Fuselage closed
Saving the detail for after sanding
Liquid Gravity weight
Closing up for painting
Starting to paint the Gunze H66
Painting Gunze H303
Painting of the above surfaces finished
Chipping... maybe too much?
Salt applied
The removal of the salt also removed the toning down of the chipping
Salt and chipping applied and toned down - not sure if I like the result
Moving forward with decals - only 8 to apply
Pin wash with Ammo PLW Blue Black in the lower areas
Landing gear glued in place with liquid glue and gel CA
Finished!

Thanks guys. This will take some time, as holidays are fast approaching and I'm doing a double build with another Mig-15 from this box (separate project).

Thanks guys. I'll do the North Korean, camouflage on top and silver in the bottom (it's in the first photo of this album)

Moved forward with the chiping + salt: the result is not entirely convincing for me... I'll wait a couple of days to see if I like it

Looking really good Ricarod.
Did you use the same color to tone down the base color after applying the salt or a lighter/darker one?

Thank you. Yes, the same color, very diluted, over both the salt effect and the chipping effect
