If you are careful, you should be able to use a toothpick to gently scratch away the paint from the canopy. If you scratch the plastic too hard, it will make a, well, a scratch.

yeah, i tried that, didnt work too good, i used maskol to mask of the windows, but the panellines on it are so shallow that it was hard to get it right. im going to use a windshield decal to fix this, i dont want to risk making things worse.

Yeah, the windscreens are tough. It doesn't look too bad though, but I'm watching to see what you do with the decal to save it. Speaking of decals... too bad you didn't start this project earlier... I might've asked you for the Lufthansa decals from this kit. The A300 ones I used on my B707 were a bit too big, but these look like just the right size. Oh, well.
