This thing has a lot of road wheels 

Each road wheel needs to be sanded and cleaned. This took about an hour. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This track is very cool. I do like the rubber band type tracks but this one has a more real look to it. It was about 95 degrees this day and my room was about 86 when I was putting these together. I only could get through the first track and had to stop due to it being too hot in my room. I picked it back up later in the day once it cooled off for the day. 

 

Tracks all done. Each track has 62 pieces, and each one has a sharp barb on it that needs to be sanded. These took about as long as all the road wheels to put together. 

This has been a joy of a kit to build. The fit is great and I really enjoyed building this tank.  

 

Primed it in Tamiya Nato black. I am going to paint it the two tone color scheme with the purple heart.  

 

 

 

These are starting to look ok. I started with Tamiya Nato Black, then used Ammo Mig Dark Track color, AK rust, and Ammo MiG light rust wash. Tomorrow I am going to dry brush some steel. 

First time using silly putty. I really enjoyed this technique and I will be doing this again on another tank. 

 

 

 

 

 

Started to add some weathering. I first started with dry brushing some Tamiya XF-11 chrome silver.  

 

 

I added some Ammo MIG wet mud. 

 

 

 

It has been pointed out to me that I needed to apply a gloss coat first, then put on the decals, because I have silvering going on. 

 

The only weathering so far has been some dry brushing with Tamiya XF-11 chrome silver. 

 

 

 

 

 

I should of put down a clear coat first, so my decals wouldn't of silvered.  

I have used a few different types of weathering effects. I have used a Ammo Mig light rust wash, some Ammo Mig wet earth effect, and Ammo Mig thick mud. Also I used some AK gun metal pigment, AK engine oil, and Tamiya brown panel liner.
