WW I USMC DH-4
Spare parts from what was either a Roden or Encore Sopwith Camel. Seat was from WW I British AC Wicker seats accessories.
Wood paneling around cockpit. Using acrylic and oils.
PE details added to Vickers MG. Painted rudder and propeller.
Engine came from same small spare parts box eithe a Roden or Encore Sopwith Camel kit. I had to drill out the Revell engine and just keep the cowling.
Several nights of rigging with various thickness of Ez line. PE parts for Pitot tube and small generator for Rotherham pump (Starboard cabane).
Added detail of fueling ports.
Underside weathering, mud dirt but also built up of petrol overspill from filling fuel tanks just behind pilot. A wonder they didn’t burn more often.

Love the project and photos. Really well done. Especially for 1:72 scale.
